UK ETA

The United Kingdom Electronic Travel Authorisation (UK ETA) is a travel authorization issued by the British government to nationals of countries exempt from obtaining a UK visa. For these individuals, it is mandatory to apply for and secure this authorization before traveling to the United Kingdom for purposes including tourism, family visits, business, and short-term study, offering an efficient alternative to the traditional visa process.

Eligible nationalities for the UK ETA currently include citizens of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and Jordan. Furthermore, the UK government plans to extend the ETA requirement to include other visa-exempt nationalities, notably European countries, by the end of 2024.
